Bolte Civil was formed and commenced operations on the NSW Central Coast in 1992 by Neil Bolte, the Managing Director. Since that time the company has grown from a small civil engineering firm into one of the largest and most reputable Civil Engineering and Landscaping Contracting Companies on the Central Coast. Bolte Civil has an annual turnover of over $30 million, employs a dedicated staff of over 60 personnel, and owns a large fleet of major earthmoving plant and equipment.

Over the last 16 years, Bolte Civil has developed and expanded its operations into undertaking projects in the Newcastle, Hunter Valley, NSW Central West (Dubbo) and North Coast (Taree) Regions.

Our head office is based in Tuggerah Business Park and we have a skilled staff which covers all facets of civil engineering and construction management, ranging from Project Managers, Estimators, Civil Engineers, Surveyors, Site Supervisors, Construction Plant Operators, Concretors, landscapers, and construction workers.

Bolte Civil also owns and operates a specialised fleet of over 30 pieces of major earthmoving plant including specialised civil and landscaping equipment such as a Concrete Slipform Paver and Strawmulching trucks, and is equipped with the latest GPS and laser surveying technology to compliment its construction service prowess.

Bolte Civil is a member of the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) and holds National Prequalification to the CCF Construction Management Code which includes Environmental, OH&S, and Quality Management registration since 2002. Bolte Civil also holds Prequalification status to Category R2 for roadworks with the RTA and is a member of the Landscape Association of NSW.

Bolte Civil works in accordance with CCF IMS Accreditation and has thereby been included on tender lists for Hunter Water Corporation, Midcoast Water, Landcom, the Department of Commerce, as well as the majority of local council authorities, private engineering designers, surveyors, project managers, Landscape Architects, residential and commercial developers.

  Integrated Management System

Bolte Civil has implemented an Integrated Management System that addresses the Australian and International Management Standards for Occupational Health & Safety (AS/NZS 4801:2001), Environment (AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004) and Quality Management (AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000) and the NSW Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
The Company’s Integrated Management System Policy outlines its commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace. The system has a risk management focus and utilises the principles contained in Australian Standard AS/NZS 4360:1999 Risk Management.

Control measures such as Work Method Statements and Inspection and Test Plans are developed that outline the actions to be taken to ensure compliance with risk management, specification, quality, environment and occupational health and safety requirements.

The Company has achieved prequalification with the Roads and Traffic Authority for Roadwork (R2) contracts to the value of $2 million and with Landcom for Civil Works – Urban Sub-division Construction. The Management System has also been certified by the Civil Contractors Federation Code Certified Contractors as meeting the Australian Standards for Quality, OH&S and Environment management systems.  As a requirement under the Australian and International Standards for Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety Management systems, the Integrated Management System is the subject of continuous improvement.
